Must-Have Shoes for October

Mule Loafers | Glitter Booties (similar) | Peep-Toe Booties (also love this pair!)

With October starting this past weekend (I mean, where has 2017 gone? I am actually worried.) I wanted to share what I like to call the in-between shoes that are a must-have for October. Remove the sandals and wedges from your closet and replace them with a selection of shoes that can transform as the leaves fall and winter temperatures nip at your nose. Since we’re not quite to winter temperatures part yet (aka riding boot season), at least in Florida, I want to offer three options that feel like fall but work until the weather catches up with the season. Stock your closet with these three options to have well-rounded selections all month long:

  • The Mule Loafer (under $25!): Perfect for a day of errands, work or even walking the dogs. In the summertime, I leave a pair of flat slides by the door to run out the door if necessary. These are my new go-to! I’ve worn them like four days in a row which is everyday since I got them. I’ve sported them to work, church and grocery shopping. I love them with a simple pair of black jeans, my favorite t-shirt and my hair up in a bun. These mule loafers make it seem like I pieced together my outfit, when really they might as well be flip flops.
  • The Peep-Toe Bootie: At first, I wasn’t sure how I felt about a suede bootie that offers a peep-toe. But then I picked up this pair (and honestly I love, love, love LC Lauren Conrad shoes) and understood. They’re perfect for nights that offer just a slight sign of fall but you can also wear them during the day with boyfriend jeans and a blazer and not become overheated. They’re an airy option for a great everyday bootie in October.
  • The Statement Bootie: I’ve had this pair of booties for probably four years now and they’re a continual staple in my closet beginning in October. I linked a similar option and whether I wear them for a girls night out or a Halloween costume, I LOOK for an excuse to rock these booties that offer a hint of glitter. Most often, I pair these booties with a simple romper and a jean jacket for just a little drama accomplished by the sparkle.

No matter what your October plans entail, one of these three pair of shoes can take you there! It’s safe to say my favorite in-between shoe is the mule loafer as I’ve already purchased them in silver too. How do you change up your shoe selections as fall approaches?

I hope you have a great Wednesday!
