I’ve never understood the statement, “there aren’t enough hours in the day,” until I tried to maintain a full-time job, run a blog and keep a household tidy and functioning. I get it now, I really do. Come Friday, Mack and I are living the full “weekender” life and loved our relaxing Saturday. We walked the dogs, rode our bikes to the beach and did a lot of patio lounging because, that’s right, we finally got new patio furniture. I’ll do a post about it on Wednesday so you can see what we decided on. But come Sunday, it was back to business with church, grocery shopping, laundry, and blog work. I am in such awe of all that has been presented to both Mack and me, and trust in the Lord’s plan (and know it’s not because of us, but because of His blessings) that we are busy for good reason. A thankful heart keeps me going!
Anyways, THIS maxi. For whatever reason, I’ve spent most of my adult life avoiding maxi dresses. I literally didn’t own one until I found this cold-shoulder option. Honestly, the price point (under $60!), the blush tone and floral pattern sold me. I ordered it and fell in love when I tried it on! Also, when Mack saw it he approved which already affirmed what I knew, it’s a keeper! This dress is ideal for work, a summer rehearsal dinner or evening summer concert. It’s flattering and so, so comfortable. Which let’s be honest, that’s all a girl really wants anyway!
I hope you’re week is off to a good start! I am headed to New York City on Thursday so I have a busy few days ahead to prepare for my trip. Thank you so much for reading today. It means the world to me, it really does!
