Floral Dress & Leopard Heels: Blush Destin | Sunglasses (similar) | Purse (similar) | Watch (similar)

When it’s finally okay to wear white shoes again of course I opt for leopard print haha! I saw this look on the Blush Destin Instagram last week and immediately asked Morgan to hold this dress for me as I knew it would be a spring staple. I love the bold print and the bright colors balanced by the muted grey tone. This dress is so pretty to me! When I swung by to pick it up, there was one pair of these little leopard heels left in my size and well, I couldn’t resist. Originally when she posted this dress she paired it with these heels so I decided I’d try it. Although I love an outfit featuring mixed prints, I’ve never been able to find the correct pieces to pair together that work. Since this outfit was Morgan-approved, I knew it would be so dang cute. Due to that, I asked her to contribute some tips for mixing prints for all the girls out there that WANT to mix prints but aren’t quite sure where to start. Here’s the advice she offered:

I absolutely love mixing prints! Even if it’s as simple as a skinny leopard belt with a floral top. If you’re new to the mixed print game and want to give it a whirl here are some quick tips to do so. First, start by pinning some mixed print looks on Pinterest.  I always head straight to my style boards for inspiration and seek a second opinion if I am trying something new and out of the box! Second, pop by your favorite stores and gather items that feature similar prints to those that you love on Pinterest. Try on all the pulled looks with a girlfriend and snap a few selfies to reference later. Finally, use your selfies as your very own style inspiration- would you pin your look? If so, purchase the items and rock it. No matter what, mixing prints at the very least is FUN! So don’t be too hard on yourself and step out in something you normally wouldn’t.

Personally, I always like to start my week off with something bold! Working in retail can get dull if you don’t try new things! And what better way to start than with a bold color block or mixed print outfit? If you are totally against sporting a bright or bold outfit at your workplace, try it for a fun girls night out! You may just be surprised at how many compliments you receive!

Well there you have it! From my boutique-owning bestie to you! I am so glad she shared some insight and tips for stepping out in something bold for spring. If you would like to recreate this look, she has limited sizes available in both the dress and shoes! Head over to the Blush Destin Instagram for details on how to order.

I hope you have a great Monday! Thanks for reading today!
