A simple shift dress is something that I believe every girl should have in her closet! More often than not, they’re comfortable, flattering and an easy go-to option when nothing else seems to work. I’ve had this Kate Spade shift dress for a few years and it’s a closet staple for me. From a bridal luncheon to Easter Sunday a few years ago, this dress does it all. With Easter quickly approaching again, I thought I would shine some light on my bright pink shift dress and how I plan to style it again (#outfitrepeater) this year.
For me, Easter Sunday brings up memories of dying Easter eggs (which I hated the smell of when I was little), attending church and a big family lunch after the service. Growing up in Colorado, it was ALWAYS hit or miss on what the weather would be like on Easter. I never gave up hope however and planned ahead like it would be 80 degrees. But, for those of you from Colorado or who’ve visited in the month of April, you know that the chance of getting a blizzard that weekend is also extremely high. I swear, I was always meant to live down South. Luckily for me this means dressing in bright colors, in actual 80 degree weather, is my very present reality! Yay! Mack and I plan to attend church and will probably have a very low-key day since we don’t have family here with us. I may just have to boil some eggs for us to dye however for old times sake!
What do you plan on wearing this Easter? Here are a few additional options that I think are adorable and under $100!
Have a great weekend! Thanks so much for reading today!
