Kitchen Update

Happy Thanksgiving Eve! Mack and I are traveling to Dallas today with our two puppies in tow. We’re especially excited to see family, spend a weekend away and indulge in some delicious food tomorrow! Although we won’t be cooking in our kitchen, I wanted to take this opportunity to share a peak inside the updates we’ve been working on. We still have some work to complete but for the most part, our new kitchen is up and running {even if my only specialty is cereal}. We are thrilled with the transformation as our dark countertops and aluminum backsplash had a little face lift to simple white and grey countertops and beveled subway tile. We also upgraded our sink to a farm house with a new faucet and it’s by far our favorite part. We opted to keep our existing cabinets and didn’t upgrade any appliances as they’re in good condition. These seemingly small updates make a huge difference in the appearance of not only the kitchen but the overall flow of our downstairs living space. Our kitchen flows directly into our dining room and just beyond that is our living room!

With Thanksgiving on everyone’s mind I wanted to share what I am most thankful for this year. Although there are many things that I am thankful for, I am feeling the most blessed by the fact that Mack is home for the holidays this year. I understand how fortunate we are and know that many people can’t say the same- whether they’re military, law enforcement or simply work a job that requires them to work over the holidays- being away from a loved one during this time can be a challenge. I am counting blessings, this year and always, as we gather around the table filled with more love than we deserve tomorrow.

Wishing you a wonderful Thanksgiving Day!

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!!!!!!!!!!!Hugs to Rebel & tiger. Jackson had 15 teeth pulled, yesterday. He is on a bland, soft diet for Thanksgiving. He seems to be doing fine or at least as well as can be expected. Have a wonderful trip with the boys. Enjoy your family!!OOOXXX
