Spring is HERE! Oh my gosh, we’ve been having the best weather the past two weeks and I am ready for the beach (despite the fact that my skin is so pale 😂). Since March is officially here, I wanted to share a few ways to get spring ready on Florida’s Emerald Coast. Beach days don’t take much effort and for that, we are all thankful. Here are my tips to get beach ready this month:

  1. Opt to cruise- The beach is great but parking can sometimes pose a challenge in our area. To avoid this struggle, opt to cruise on a bike instead. It’s not only fun but convenient and truly the best way to get around. Whether you’re staying on Sandestin or further east on 30A, you’ll enjoying pedaling to the beach, happy hour and even dinner. There are numerous bike rental companies in our area which can be found through a simple Google search. I can’t personally recommend any as we utilize our own bikes however!
  2. Snag a one piece- I haven’t worn a one piece probably since I was a baby at the pool with my parents haha. BUT I must say, I love this ruffle option. As one piece swimsuits are totally back in style, I wanted to ensure that I tried one that didn’t break the bank in case I didn’t love it. But this ruffle option is under $40 and I really like the fit. Plus, I love how it looks paired with my cutoffs!
  3. Step up your towel game- We’ve used the same blue towels since we first moved to a beach town in North Carolina four years ago. Those same towels made the move to Florida with us and needless to say, it was time for a new one (or four haha). This watermelon towel is perfect. I know we will utilize it weekly as it’s round and big enough for Mack and I to sit on during a sunset. Plus, it’s so. dang. cute.

We personally try not to tote a ton of stuff to the beach- just the essentials like sunscreen, towels, water, etc. If you want to assemble the whole set up however, some additional items to consider include an umbrella, cooler, and a speaker!

Have any of you ever visited Florida’s panhandle? I may be biased but I think the world’s most beautiful beaches are right here. If you’re heading to the area this spring break season, I hope you enjoy it!
